I will replace all o-rings, lube them up and give it a go. Thanks for the info.

I google extensively every time I'm considering a new product for the shop as there are duds and lemons and even a great manufacturing company can have a bad product, batch, or even year! But sometimes it's just human error. As unique as we all like to think we are, we humans tend to do the same things repeatedly. Aside from that, I've done it myself; damaged many an o-ring by tightening a dry coil or tank! The dry friction can burn, stretch, and even mangle an o-ring. You should see evidence of the damage if you look closely.

I had the same issue with my well used one, I replaced the glass and O rings that came extra with the package however it did nothing, it would still leak so I stopped using it. I couldn't find a way to fix it. That was with coils or the rebuildable portion also.

Never had any leaking on my 2 Subtank mini's with RBA. Make sure there is no cotton wicking touching the top of deck.

Well I really wish I knew what I am doing differently than the ones that have no leaking with this mofo. LOL ...

I replaced all the o-rings and lubed them up earlier today (odd that I need to do this on the mini as I never had to replace an o-ring or lube them on the original 25 mm subtank). Replacement of the o-rings has made a difference ... now when I block the air holes and draw there is no air-flow ----> leakage is greatly reduced however it still does leak.

I always thought that cotton touching the deck may result in juice getting into the AFC section of the tank. The problem is that the deck on this tank is such a small space that ensuring that the cotton does not touch the deck is next to impossible IMO. My solution to ensure that no cotton touches the deck: I wicked the coil using the same method if rebuilding one of the pre-made Kanger OC coils. One tank and no leaks ...
    Regards,
    Tom

It is a puzzling issue, still leaking however less leakage now than initially reported.

The partial fix appears to be bcameron's suggestion to ensure the wick does not touch the deck & the suggestion by Tiki
to ensure that the unit is properly sealed.

A friend reports that her Subtank Mini using the RTA does not leak ... another friend reports that his does leak.
I chatted with a sales rep at the local vape shop ... he told me that some customers report leakage.

It is odd that some don't have any leakage and others do.
    Regards,
    Tom

    hmmm...

so, as long as everything looks ok and fits together nice, then look at the chimney on tank section, straight, no slight bends, that slides into the top of the coil head, see that little ring seal in top of coil head cap, look ok? probably so..

this is feeling like a wicking issue, mine leaked a few times, it was due to poor wick job, I dont wick like "Rip" does for example

I make mine the same as this photo found on net, once its ready, put the coil head tube on, check juice channels, then screw on the coil head top cap, install into filled tank, done.

Myself I have a subtank mini, (authentic) and I have no leaking issues with the OCC coil or the RBA deck.
I did buy a subtank nano (clone) and it leaks... not sure from where.

I tried to smoke an e-cig once. Couldn't get the damn thing lit.

I have to come the conclusion that these tanks leak: LOL. Several hours later (or is that days?) attempting to fix the problem or for that matter trying determine what is the cause of the leakage.

Here is a response from Kangertech on another forum "SUBTANK series generate the huge vapor while vaping, these vapor will condense inside the middle chimney of the tanks. Hence end user need to daily clean and dry these droplet to prevent too much to overflow which seems leaks finally."
    Regards,
    Tom
