Well, I've got an igo-l and haven't used it much. I think I'll try it and give it a go.

I've got my IGO wrapped with 11 wraps of .28, and it's literally the best set up I've ever put on it. Crazy vapor, Crazy flavor, but I just don't have the patience for dripping even with my 20 or so puffs I get off the IGO before I need to drip more. I forget, and catch a wicked throatfull of kanthal taste.

I've been seriously thinking about wrapping microcoils on my DID clone, as it seems to be working pretty well with my 7 wrap, .28. My thoughts are though that I'll likely need to use non resistance wire so I don't get hot legs?

Anyone care to enlighten the new guy on some micro building tips? Is everyone wrapping by hand? Machine screw? When we say tightly wrapped does this also mean tight around the wick?

    Micro coils?

You need to do the same tightness around the wick. The wraps should touch each other though. This only works on vv or vw devices. On mechanical stick with what you are doing. Hope this helps.

Would be on an SVD. Interested in comparing 1.5ish ohm regular coil, vs a micro to see the differences.

    Much Thanks!

    Micro coils?

Built one. Came out to 3 ohms. Probably could have gotten it tighter to be a true contact coil if I took more time. At 9.5 watts I'm not sure if I can tell the difference from my first 3/4 attempts flavour or vapor wise. Good to know there's more than one way to skin a cat though
