    From the mech/cloud chasing perspective:

Like Mike and others, and myself pretty much thousands of times have said, this statement "They key to any vaporz production is the end result, which is wattage" is only partially true.

We are building little carburated engines is the best way I know how to help someone see the whole picture.

So while wattage as the end result is a key component, it is ONLY a component that measures essentially heat. Not enough surface area, not enough air, that "I just built my first .3 cloud machine" build is gonna taste like a hot pirates asshole.

One can also have too much air in a build. My "party/dick measuring" build on a 26650 rig and a 28mm Stillaire actually runs too airy wide open and needs to be closed down a wee bit for me to get the densest clouds possible.

Oddly enough the chart would seem to work for me but i know my vape range is not typical. I run stock coils from 1.8 to maybe 2.4 and i set volts normally from 3.0 to 3.4 and occasionally up to 3.7. Everything else to me tastes burnt, maybe it's because i use high VG juice that's thick and doesn't wick well? Curious the ohms listed go up very high instead of very low - i never hear people talking about their 6 ohm coils, but lots talking about their .8 and lower. Maybe somebody can rework the chart to include sub-ohm info. Wonder how that would look.

Well according to this chart it would probably suggest vaping a .8ohm coil at 1.5v. This is why this chart is useless except for a ohms law reference. Even then it is missing another important component which is Amps. Whether it is stock coils or rebuildables there are too many variables to come out with a "just right" zone. There is no magic formula for it.

    - coil wire material, wire thickness, diameter
    - wicking material, how much or little wicking, surface area
    - airflow
    - single or dual coil
    - juice

(Please note that I did NOT make the chart)

But as you can see. The higher resistance offers more selections for your VV/VW to stay in the green zone and fine tune it.. While the lower resistance. offers fewer.. Its not the end-all-be-all. But its a great starting point.

That's an old chart. My aspire duals at 1.8ohms are rated for 5v and I run them at 4.5v no issue, my 2.1s for 6v, but waiting for my mod to run them that high. Coils have advanced.
Even single hand made coils can take a lot more. Upto and beyond 15 watts is normal now. Even 20+ if you know how
to make them... I don't yet, but I know you can do it.

My current kanger duals in my aerotank can take 5.5v, my 1.8ohm aspires can take 5v. 2.1ohm aspires can take 6v. My new E-lvt mod that can do 6v:
