Wow, going on 3 years next week and remember how much this site helped me when I first quit tobacco. Am now down to 1 mg or even 0 but still vaping away peacefully. Interesting how many people still ask me when I'm going to quit vaping. Smoked for 38 years and they never asked me when i was going to quit that crap. It's been a long time since I was on here but came by to take a look for nostalgia's sake, glad to see it's still going and helping new vapers! Never touched another stinky after my last one on January 22nd, 2014

My anniversary date was Nov 11th, Remembrance Day, 3 years ago. I picked up a Blu ecig down in Washington State, and realized that I would never have to smoke again!!

I began smoking at 13 or 14 years old, and had resigned myself to being a smoker for the rest of my life because every time I tried to quit, I would gain a ton of weight, be absolutely miserable, and start smoking again.

I have not been tempted to have a cigarette since that day. I have dropped 45 pounds, I feel awesome, and I weigh less today than I did on my wedding day!!!!

Will be 7 years October 1/17. Make my own e liquid. Have seen a lot of changes over the years, that I probably wouldn't be here to enjoy, had it not been for vaping. Learned a lot from this forum, met a lot of nice people, thoroughly enjoy converting smokers. Congrats to everyone here, for continuing your quest, to be smoke free.

It will be 3 1/2 years in a couple of weeks after 40 years of a carton/week. Seriously had I kept on tobacco at the very least I would be dragging an oxygen bottle behind me if I still had a pulse. I had a MD ask me about vaping to help out his mother who still smokes. We are slowly winning them over regardless of what Stanton Glantz (sp?) has to lie about.

BTW my wife used to beg me to go and buy a pack when I hit day 3 of yet another attempt to quit smoking. I think that says it all.

EDIT: Update, 1308 days, but who's counting right?
