In addition to not having information (the shop i visited yesterday didnt know the that there was a nickel coil preinstalled in the top box I purchased yesterday, until I proceeded to remove it he thought the 0.5 ohm ss was in it) It seems to me that the sense of community and support is not what it was a couple years ago which is a shame really as I think that probably went a long way to helping people successfully make that switch... hopefully it comes back at some point. It could just be that vaping has become more common place I know I certainly see alot more vapers out and about then I used to and there are alot more shops at least here.....

@hazygirl i learned how to vape on this forum! People who knew much more than i did took the time to answer questions, and the threads were searchable and stayed active for long stretches. On Facebook i became one of the page administrators on one of the provincial fb groups for my province. I posted all kinds of educational info and got very little interest. In the meantime, another page had the younger "cloud crowd". Several vendors peddled freebies and the membership - which was about 7 times the size of the group i was admin for - was like a bunch of giddy schoolgirls. Constant pics of builds and cloud chucks. They even started talking about having the membership being by invite only! A vape sorority? Anyway, i got the f&^% out of there because i just didn't fit. I eventually stopped contributing to the other page as well because there's just not enough like minded people in it for me. Giveaways and selfies - no thanks.

It certainly can depend on the store that you visit. There are some fantastic stores out there so just keep visiting new ones. I suggest visit stores until you find someone who related to you well and gives ya the info ya need on your level. Or .... just ask us here, always here to help ya through whatever.

Forums are still my favorite place to soak in info. Facebook, to me, is for quick, what's new info, but forget going back to refresh that info. Too much personnel info and pouty lips on facebook.

I got a headís up on this thread as I am a strong supporter of this forum, and recently stopped dropping by because all things China, whereas I try I go local.

Shawn, you created a great learning center here. I am one of those that started a FB vape group, but I myself downsized due to some personal observations. I truly hope that WO can return to its former greatness as it was such an important jump off point for me & many many more.

Always appreciate the support and i know you have always been around, much appreciated

Yes china ads, my fault.. thought i could control them but indeed i could not and took over more then i wanted, doing the reversal now and not allowing them while still honoring the agreement with the few left until they are expired.

Canadian based was why the forum did well and that's what it will go back to pure and simple. I have appreciated all support from chinese distributors looking to advertise but it's not in line with why the forum was created.. just became a issue i tried to find a resolution to... Trial and error...

If your looking to get more involved by all means we can chat, always looking for some extra hands/eyes around the board.

    Thanks again
