    Red face "documented proof"

So the dreaded thread going sideways off topic happens a lot, comments provoke thoughts, into whatever text, I don't really care most times, I enjoy the twists and turns of conversation... its an open public forum, whatever...but in effort not to offend any more and create more unnecessary personal attacks... made a new thread ... regarding "documented proof" & perhaps the lack of it...

The issue surrounding PG, seems hundreds if not more have wrote about sensitivities with PG... a wide variety of issues arise, some don't have any issues, none at all... lucky lucky... I have sensitivities with PG, so I use as little as possible, 2nd hand vape does not seem to bother me at all though.

An emerging amount of people are talking about cotton sensitivities, any documented proof of this? not that I'm aware of yet but Dimitris is a good example with the issues he has and talked about. Is that his opinion? no... its what he experiences. Some have issue with silica too no? so...

I don't consider it an "opinion", I consider it someones experience and If you are experiencing the same thing or similar know your not alone. Perhaps a remedy suggestion is in play. I for one appreciate someone sharing their or someone they know experiences. It may not be documented proof yet but its real life experiences that are effecting us as Vapers.

Some people react bad with scents, aerosols, certain particles in the air, whatever you want to call it, thus also the scent free office was born... any documented proof of this? probably but not my concern for researching at the moment.

So live and learn even if there is no "documented proof" yet. Perhaps one day we'll have that credible study posted on NEJM ah-ha or someplace... yea

By coincidence I happened to post this today on ECTA's FB thread - nobody's biting so far - maybe someone here would know:

    PG Sensitivity

Posting because of this quote related to VG: "Glycerine, or glycerol as it may perhaps be better termed, to reflect the fact it is an alcohol and not an oil (see the suffix -ol), can be obtained from multiple feedstocks. In the past, vegetable-based glycerine was the best choice for vaping, from coconut oil or palm oil, or a mix; the best available now is the pure synthetic form of pharmaceutical grade glycerol (e.g. Dow Optim)."

Q: Does anyone use the synthetic form for e-liquid?

And that says it all. You live and learn and if something is not agreeable with you, its as simple as you avoid it. What more is there to say?

"documented proof" isn't a letter signed sealed and delivered by God, its simply a credible report of proven verified harm being done. A hypochondriac who has to tell the world what they are sensitive too, or a normal person who just avoids something that isn't favorable to them is not documented proof of anything, more than an opinion. I've yet to see what we are discussing - the proof.

Unfortunately we live in a world where problems get you attention. I don't know what your age is, but for my generation and generations before peanut butter was a staple of a school lunch. Now it seems every last school has a ban. How does this make sense? Are suddenly more kids allergic, doubt it... For the few that do suffer from this, they somehow manage to survive outside of school about everywhere they go without death by peanut. It comes down to some people just crave to be special they will take it anyway they can get it. This is how crazy and out of hand things get when there is "documented proof". We DO NOT need to unleash this foolishness on a product that lack any documented proof of harm. It time to return from an attention crazed desired to be babied society to one that uses their brain.

Just plain old common sense, if you don't LIKE something avoid it. If its going to kill you or make you melt - then there is a problem - lets hear about it with documented proof, it it can be discussed within reason. Short of that there is no need for any sort of action to be taken.

Can some writing on a Brown Paper Bag be considered Documented Proof? Seems to speak more sense than half of whats out there !

Love the first one! 50 million anecdotes! Yet anecdotal evidence is....pardon the pun....not worth the paper it's written on?
