What I would do is give it a good try to quit. Easy to say, I know. I would also be prepared to lie about it. Just out of curiosity, did you ask the doc about the patch? That might tell you something. In any event, don't worry about it. These things have a way of working out when you need them to. And you have us to vent to when ever you feel like it.
This thread highlights the single biggest problem brought about by those who condemn vaping out of hand. You don't know who or what to believe. Clearly stopping vaping would be the safest route. What we don't know is how much added risk, if any, is there?
I feel for you projectjudi. It's a tough one.
Thanks for all your replies. I am going to try my best and cut down dramatically on my mg. My last couple of orders have been 18mg down from 24 but that is not going to be quick enough. I am not a great person when it comes to 'willpower'. I am afraid I just won't be able to totally quit but will definitely work towards it. I am so afraid of being a failure.
lucv13 thanks for your kind offer but I will be nowhere near London before my surgery.
The surgery I am having is abdominal and there will be 2 large incisions and even my first surgeon who approved of my vaping told me there is a high percentage of infection and even sepsis. Will see what I can do but I do know I will continue vaping even if it`s just 0mg...think it keeps my hands busy and that`s half the battle right there.
I wish I could find the study that was done ( I have been looking since I read your post on FB). In it, it stated that the amt of nic you get from vaping is far far less than the amt you get from smoking. They add chemicals and such to tobacco so that more nic is absorbed through the lungs when you smoke, but this does not apply to vaping and in fact, when you vape, the nic is absorbed through your mouth...but I CAN'T find the study!! Arg.
Anyway, call the surgeon and ask if it is ok to chew nicorette gum because that is also absorbed through the mouth. If he says yes then......![]()
Thanks Wendy
Will do that. If you do find that article please let me know....
I don't have anything to add to what has already been said, but I'm very sorry that things have turned out the way they have. I know it won't be easy, but it's not impossible to cut back if you can, keep in mind, that you would only need to do it till after the operation and if you find when things have settled you can't do it, go back up to your happy mg. It would only be temporary.
If @lucv13 can make it to my place to drop off the juice he has, I'll pay for shipping to send it to you. I may ( not sure have to check ) have some low mg I can send too. I can't drive and am still using a walker ( hip surgery ) so can't get out to pick up the juice but I can convince my husband to send it off on his way to work if you can bring it lucv13. I'll even make coffee! Or tea if you preferI'll give you chocolate! We can have a vape and maybe you can try new juice you haven't tried @lucv13
If you just want to quick drop it off and not come in, that's ok too. I'm not too far from downtown. If that's possible, send me a pm.

Just thought of something... I saw your ad to sell your high mg. Maybe just wait a tiny bit till I can see if lucv13 will bring what he has and I can ship it to you. You may want to go back up after things are settled then you would be out all that juice.
To add..if anyone in London has low mg or zero mg they can spare, if you can get it to me, I'll pack it up and ship it to Judi. Anyone interested, send me a pm and cc Judi so she knows and hopefully we can get a package together for her.
