So, I re-emailed everyone on the list I have, and it turns out there were fatal errors in 4 email addresses. Chris D'entremont, shelb@eastlink.ca,info@allanrowe.com, and northmla@eastlink.ca. If you have these email addresses, remove them from your list, Allan Rowe's inbox is full, the rest are permanent fatal errors.

A like product is caffeine. It is actually used to treat conditions, like headaches and used to increase alertness. Nicotine isn't used as either, therefor making caffeine more of a "drug" or "medicine" than nicotine, and making more sense to regulate coffee over e-juice.

Tobacco is categorized by itself, because its alone in being deadly crap without any useful purpose - but the government allows because its very profitable. This category is not suited for e-cigs at all.
I agree it isn't a medicine however what we think it should be is irrelevant. It is what it is. The world sees it as being an NRT or tobacco.

I don't see anything wrong with it being considered a drug. The problem is that no one with the means are interested in capable of doing what is necessary I get a MA.

This leaves us in the wind. We are literally in the same boat as those with Ebola until the govt stepped in and funded vaccines. Pharmaceutical companies have no interest in it as they already have NRTs and Big T doesn't want it to work.

With all the tobacco taxes being collected we should be calling on the government to spend some on grants. After all they are funding the anti-vaper groups.

According to the NS Legislation site - the 3rd reading only takes place after the Law Ammendments Committee signs off on it.

The Law Ammendments Committee is open to public input.

I hope when they have guests, people are prepared with excellent stories and facts
Got to have the members to understand and feel for you.

I have a story that someone can take to read. It was the 4 page document I sent to Rona Ambrose...

Talks about Flavoured other products (Alcohol) that are offered to young adults.
Talks about Obesity and flavoured products that are offered to young adults.
Use the story on how your parents are now vaping, and how it has affected Holiday dinners positively by having Grandpa with us, and Dad not coughing up a lung.
When in front of all the members, do that simple experiment. Ask if any members sitting smoke... (Probably nobody will, so be prepared with this experiment already done)
If there is a member ask him to go outside take a 5 second and keep smoke in his mouth, and breath into a napkin. Then have him inhale a 5 second drag and breath onto a different part of the napkin.
Show him the two dirty circles... Show him that what is missing from the inhale one, is in his lungs...
Then do the same with Vaping. They need to see it in person that you are saving at the least from putting dirty tar and 1000+ other chemicals in your lungs.
Give them the link to the guy that smoked 3000 cigarettes and make a brick of tar from the leftovers...

Also, someone should ask about why they haven't looked into banning smoking completely, suggest how much they make on taxes on these products.
I suggested the banning to 19 plus this year, then next year the age goes to 20+, then 21+ and in twenty years, Smoking will be gone...

I really hope there are more than 12 people that will speak, Nova Scotia you guys need to set the example and show them you are not going down without a fight. (In a courteous manner of course... No Cloud Blowing in the waiting room...)

P.S. When they mention Water Pipes, are they talking about Bongs as well or is this just Hookah pipes?

Sorry NS, It is a grim view and unfortunately not enough squeak from anyone to get the grease going. Sad but true. Also, Nicotine is a drug. Period. It may be a drug used in some "medicines" and can certainly be considered as part of a medicine, but it is still a drug.

If you think of it as anything different, then you are just as delusional as the policy makers trying to ban ecigs.
