On top of that... All vendors have been invited to a private audience with Health & Welness NS to discuss matters. Date(s) in January will be decided by quorum. At least this time they are giving us time to prepare. Merry Christmas to all. See ya on the 27th Dan :)

Great article, I have a few reservations about it but...

Something that is hurting us or will hurt us, are the vendors without any type of integrity that R selling to minors. It is not surprising with the amount of competition in HRM. Noenetheless it is a no, no. Therefore I support legislation in all haste wrt the NO SALE to minors. The rest we can discuss.

As these operations don't give a shit, we (vendors) would like your support in not patronising these establishments who are hurting our cause. They are...
(due to possible legal rammifications please PM me) They know who they are. They have been asked to cease and decist. We were told to go fly a kite.

Not that I didn't say this was coming but write/subscripe, put your nickels worth in. Tell these morons what's happened since vaping. I use only fruit flavoured nic products; stocked up with 5 years gear and 1 year nic, so just do your part. Plz :)

Read most of it, - unless I haven't had enough coffee yet and am misinterpreting it - "keep them out of view, unless the store sells only e-cigarettes and minors are not permitted entry" this is a good thing and would allow vape shops to continue showing products. Not sure about the "no point-of-sale promotion" because that could be interpreted as a vendor showing and helping the new vaper with various choices of products. I guess it's all in how promotion is defined. Much better than how the bill stared out though. I really hope other provinces will listen to us too.

Thanks, read it and as usual it made me upset. I can construct a survey and have the data support my own conclusions. e.g 16.1% of youth have tried ecigs. Yes that looks alarming. How many in that demographic tried smoking, or yet are still vapers, and even more how many are now smokers (not because of ecigs)?

The CDC report very misleading??? That same report the part that is not public demonstrates a significant decrease in smoking in youth, almost to the tune of vaping uptake, yet they don't consider that data significant. Tsk, tsk.

It will be interesting what we will be able to debate in Jan...
