... simply put! There is enough attitude displayed by ALL involved here. There are 2 sides to the story, yours, his and in the middle the truth. Yours, I am going to shout it to the world! Well you have done that, proud of yourself? Considering you joined only recently and all 4 posts relate to this subject, and we wonder what is wrong with this world? You sure showed them...

OTOH employees should not have their cell phones turned on during working hours! The incident was handled poorly by both of you. Excuse me, may I speak to the mgr... every store has one. That is how things should be handled or if not present, info the mgr in private. If you don't get any satisfaction then perhaps... No you went off like an angry little bitch and showed us all. Sympathy lies between shit and syphilis in the dictionary. My post = read between the lines. I was polite. here not so much, have a nice day

It's not really hard to tell which side of the fence he is on.
Yes,I contacted owner 3 times before doing a public post.
Does Switcher have a personal interest in the store,I don't know.
Is Switcher just being a jerk,I don't know.
As for only just joined and have only had 4 posts on this forum, that is true but I have joined many other forums over the last few years. I am interested with anything that has to do with vaping and the vaping community.
The time stamp of thios post is 21:04

This PM is 21:07 >>Thank you very much for showing your true colours and try not to be too surprised when you see that I posted your reply in the public forum.
    Have a nice day>>

then followed by this one @ 21:19 <<Your good for a laugh but I have other things to do.
Have a great day lol >> 8 minutes after my response.

Talking about true colours. I don't do "tude" if you think you have attitude, don't come to a gun fight sporting a knife. The problem with folks that do not know how to deal with issues, it has to be someone else's fault. All I said theree are 2 sides to the story, you definitely filled in the missing part.

I don't give a rats ass how long you have been vaping, or on how many forums you have been on. You broke several rules of forum etiquette e.g you never introduced yourself, saying hello my name is Paul yadi, yadi,yada... No you came here with a mission in mind, a vendetta, your only posts have been here. Do you honestly believe you are the only one that has done this? Many have been around the block and bought the T-shirt. I guess you told us all...

We are done here... like I said grow a set, I/we have no use for your infantile behaviour. The problem with the world today, folks only hear what they want to hear, not what they need to hear. Pay attention as you have just been given an education wrt etiquette. It is what it is, and I say it as it is!

Switcher you sure have a high opinion of yourself and can’t stand it when anyone disagrees with your self important opinion. If anyone has broken the rules of forum etiquette it would be you. All you have done is rant like a spoiled child using inappropriate language on a public forum while trying to belittle people while only making yourself look tool. You like to say ( I/We) like this is your site but you seem to be the only one shooting your mouth off. It’s getting late so you should toddle off to bed, its adult time now.

    Where it all started from.

First of off I have been shopping at AveVaper since they opened their store and have spent hundreds of dollars at their establishment.
A few months back I had the unpleasant experience of dealing with their new employee.
I had picked out a new mod to purchase but when I went to the cash to pay I was totally ignored while he spent his time texting with his friends and treated me like I did not exist.
My next encounter with this fine employee was a couple of weeks ago when I was looking in the display cabinet comparing a new mod in different colours, trying do decide which one I liked better.
I hear him yell behind me “what are you doing” I replied looking at the new mods.
I replied these ones “don’t go in the cabinets” is his reply. I tried to explain to him that I have been told by other staff to just go ahead and look in the cabinet and if I have any questions about the products to just ask.
He muttered something then just walked away ignoring me so I just left the store and made the same purchase at another vape store.
I have contacted AceVaper twice about this employee and no response from them at all.
The vaping industry is fighting everyday for the rights to vape and how we are perceived in the public also to help smokes move to a healthier way of life.
If this had been my first time in a vape store I would have never entered any vape establishment again.
Luckily I have visited over 50 vape stores from Ottawa to London Ontario and this is the first rude employee I have encountered, so I know this is not the norm.
I do not understand how AceVaper will tolerate this behavior with so much competition in the Toronto area.
I thought I would share my experience and give future customers a heads up.
    Regards: Paul

I originally posted ... 2 side to the story... seems a lot of attitude going on here.

I have recently received an unsolicited PM from Acevaper with their side, quite different than the story posted here. As I previously posted there are 2 sides to a story and then we have truth. I don't have a dog in this fight as I know neither of you. I received an apology from Acevaper for being dragged into this. The truth is always found in the middle. Let it die!! I'll leave you with... He who is free of sin, cast the 1st stone

I would love to hear their side of the story, please feel free to post it.
All I ever wanted wanted was a simple apology or at least an acknowledgement of the event.
I guess that is too much to ask from AceVaper they would rather hide and let other people do their bidding for them.
    I'm finished with tne cowards.

... be careful what you wish for. But as you requested here it is...

    <<Hi Switcher,

It's Terri from Ace Vaper. I'm tasked to handle customer relations online. There is a lot more to the story with Paul Young than meets the eye. I told my boss about his post and I asked him how he would like me to handle it, as I wasn't in the shop when this allegedly happened.

My boss replied with about 50 forwarded emails from Paul Young. Many of them were suggestions on how we should price our items, and would we lower our cost of an item to meet some competitor, and a lot of other unsolicited business advice. The rest were asking questions that could easily have been answered with a simple Google search, or perhaps a question in a forum, rather than emailing a business whose staff, while happy to help, don't have time for endless questions that the person could answer themselves with a little effort on the Internet. Had he come into the shop with the questions, the staff would have been more than happy to help, but emails every 2 or 3 days, it gets a little tiring as the people who receive them are admin staff, they're doing ordering, dealing with suppliers, preparing advertising, arranging to attend conventions, doing the accounting, etc. and simply do not have time for random vaping/product questions in email messages, especially when they come on a regular basis.

My boss instructed me to handle it as delicately as I could, but that he would really prefer that Paul Young would find somewhere else to shop, because he is, to put it delicately, a pest, and my boss is not particularly interested in his continued patronage. A saying in business goes, that you get 100% of your problems from 2% of your customers, and this guy - is absolutely part of that 2%.

I also believe he exaggerated the issue. As for staff using their phones, there is nary a shop I've been in where I haven't seen it - while they should put them down when customers are in need of assistance (and our staff does) - the one that took the cake was when I walked into a shop and the staff were playing video games. I'm not one to judge, I don't care, as long as the customers are taken care of - in the case of Mr. Young, I think it was more about frustration with him, as he is one of those 2% of customers that give you 100% of your problems. The staff member in question is a polite and helpful employee and we have never gotten complaints about him before.

Paul Young has not stated what he wants. I've given him an apology, and that is all I can give him, if it's not enough, there is nothing more I can do for him. At the end of the day, my boss doesn't want him in the shop. If he keeps going in, keeps emailing, keeps offering unsolicited business advice and keeps trying to price our products for us, I suspect he will be told to stay out. I don't want this drama to escalate, I don't want to have to show people what kind of a pest he is in our defense, I would really rather he just go away, shop at other shops in the area - but he's failing to take the hint.

Sorry he dragged you into this, but I would like you to hear the entire side of my story.

    Cheers,

    Terri >>

As I stated we (meaning the forum) have seen this type of post before. Usually from a disgruntled customer over something or another with parting words I'll get you back. Although they seem to allow employees to have their cell phones on (something I do not believe in) my wife explained why, even in a retail setting. I come back with, what did folks do without cells phones in the past, nuff said. Some folks would die without a cell phone.

... and as stated their is always 3 sides to a story, your, theirs and the truth. Personally I don't give a damn where it falls. I don't have a dog in this fight. In my most humble opinion you should have quit while you were still ahead You guys can sort it out, I am done here.

They could have settled this with a simple apology from the very start and yes I have asked them if they would price match another store. Why not?
I asked Sketcher to post his message from AceVaper as I knew he would!
I like the way the letter is so self serving to AceVaper and really directed at me, seems kind funny don’t you think in a letter that is supposed to be an apology to sketcher.
Never was an apology or any acknowledgement on the event ever sent to me!

Remember this is where we started.

... by the way, the name is Switcher, not Sketcher! Switcher was a moniker that was attached from friends, to Switched = I had switched from combusting to vaping. It is a term of endearment...
