    AceVaper Rude Employee

    First of off I have been shopping at AveVaper since they opened their store and have spent hundreds of dollars at their establishment.
    A few months back I had the unpleasant experience of dealing with their new employee.
    I had picked out a new mod to purchase but when I went to the cash to pay I was totally ignored while he spent his time texting with his friends and treated me like I did not exist.
    My next encounter with this fine employee was a couple of weeks ago when I was looking in the display cabinet comparing a new mod in different colours, trying do decide which one I liked better.
    I hear him yell behind me “what are you doing” I replied looking at the new mods.
    I replied these ones “don’t go in the cabinets” is his reply. I tried to explain to him that I have been told by other staff to just go ahead and look in the cabinet and if I have any questions about the products to just ask.
    He muttered something then just walked away ignoring me so I just left the store and made the same purchase at another vape store.
    I have contacted AceVaper twice about this employee and no response from them at all.
    The vaping industry is fighting everyday for the rights to vape and how we are perceived in the public also to help smokes move to a healthier way of life.
    If this had been my first time in a vape store I would have never entered any vape establishment again.
    Luckily I have visited over 50 vape stores from Ottawa to London Ontario and this is the first rude employee I have encountered, so I know this is not the norm.
    I do not understand how AceVaper will tolerate this behavior with so much competition in the Toronto area.
    I thought I would share my experience and give future customers a heads up.

    Hi Paul,

    An incident of theft occurred fairly recently which has caused us to re-evaluate our policy on open display cases. We'd like to be able to trust everyone who comes into the store, but as it happens, we can't and now we must have an employee present if a customer wants to handle an item. That is new, and that would explain why the employee told you that you cannot open the cases.

    As for your other complaints I will look into it. If you could please private message me your email address and phone number I assure you that someone will get back to you soon.

    We have discussed this issue with the employee in question and he has no recollection of such an occurrence. However, we have cautioned him and expect him to respond promptly to customers in a polite manner forthwith. We do not find that any additional action is necessary, and we're sorry that you were offended and that we have lost your business.

    If I am in the area and need something I will stop and pick it up but I will not tolerate any attitude of any kind.

    I contacted Switcher about his reply and told that yes I am pissed and this is his reply to me.
    This was his reply to me...

    ... simply put! There is enough attitude displayed by ALL involved here. There are 2 sides to the story, yours, his and in the middle the truth. Yours, I am going to shout it to the world! Well you have done that, proud of yourself? Considering you joined only recently and all 4 posts relate to this subject, and we wonder what is wrong with this world? You sure showed them...

    OTOH employees should not have their cell phones turned on during working hours! The incident was handled poorly by both of you. Excuse me, may I speak to the mgr... every store has one. That is how things should be handled or if not present, info the mgr in private. If you don't get any satisfaction then perhaps... No you went off like an angry little bitch and showed us all. Sympathy lies between shit and syphilis in the dictionary. My post = read between the lines. I was polite. here not so much, have a nice day

    Does Switcher have a personal interest in the store,I don't know.
    Is Switcher just being a jerk,I don't know.
    As for only just joined and have only had 4 posts on this forum,that is true but I have joined many other forums over the last few years. I am interested with anything that has to do with vaping and the vaping community.
