You could be firing too hot (voltage too high or resistance too low), or you could have juice that doesn't wick well (high VG or darker coloured juice). At least those are the two most likely possibilities. If you're using a fixed voltage device (eGo style) then it's most likely poor wicking and you could try a lighter coloured/lower VG juice. If you CAN vary your voltage (or wattage) try stepping it down a couple of notches before giving in to switching juice...the veterans may have more suggestions, but that's what I've got!

    I'll second Joey's suggestions.
Second hand vaping - the process of letting people know that it's much better than smoking normal cigarettes and in the process converting them over.

Four days sounds about right for a lot of cheap clearos, really.

    - fixed voltages
    - juice is 70 / 30 mix
    - clear fluids same results

recommendations? id hate switching these out every 4 days, id have to stock pile em? what kind of life span can you expect with a higher end device/compenents?

I agree with vdaedalus. The atomizer head probably is a gunked up and needs cleaning. I use clearos with replaceable heads because I find that carbon builds up on the coils and may the juice darken and taste burnt.

You might want to look into Protanks/EVODs/Davides, since they all use the same heads and you can change the coil out without losing/changing the juice inside. The lifespan was about the same for me, but at least I could just change out the coil and keep vaping without much trouble

I had two or three of the ones you're talking about and the hassle of changing the heads, or just chucking them out, is what eventually drove me to pick up Protank-coil devices.

    I agree with Joey too.
If you do switch to something like an evod ( I'm not sure which is best because I haven't been using the most recent ) or whatnot that does have a replaceable coil, you can also reuse the coil a couple/few times by cleaning them under running water then putting them in an ultrasonic cleaner and letting them dry really well. You'll still need to have replacements on hand but cleaning them give them a bit longer life.

what's with other people out there who have setups that last 2 weeks or a month without changing the atomizer? I guess my expectations are to high for a starter kit but are these results possible with better quality atomizers? Thanks!
