    Aga-t2+

I've been trying to get my AGA-T2 setup for a week now, Every time i put a new mesh wick in it and wrap the coil my evic (Used for testing purposes only) Tells me there is an atomizer Short.

I've put the wick and wire under torturous blastings from my Torch, Dripped juice on the wick and ignited it until the wick gets nice and dark. Yet every time i build it i get a short...

What am i doing wrong lol!

p.s. Rsst still works like a dream.

If you don't have hot spots then its probably shorting in the atomizer deck. Where the wick goes through into the tank. Are your wires maybe pulling the wick crooked?

Check the positive pin in the 510 connection of the AGA make sure it's centered and not pulled in to far as well

What size of wire and how many wraps?
you likely need more wraps of the coil or a step smaller wire.

until you get up above 1.2ohms as ramdom says that's likely the issue.

according to my Evic, I'm now at 1.6ohms with 400 mesh & 32 wire. Wrapped it 4 times. Seems to be working ok now. Just trying to get the Hotspots Figured out. Seems awfully hot at the top.

If it's the top leg hot, good chance that the wire between the centre post and the wick is too long. Carefully pull the wick into the centre post (don't let it touch the centre pin, but really close) That's usually the cause of a hot top leg. Aga-Ts can be hard to setup the first couple time, but afterward it gets easier...promise

Glad you got it working. Do what Goofy said and you'll be all set. Agas are known for this.

    Re: Aga-t2+

Oh I feel your pain! I gave up on my aga long ago for this very reason. The RSST is just too easy, coils up and running in less than 10 minutes. I spent hours trying to get a good coil on the aga, just wasn't worth it.
