    Storage of nicotine?

I just got my order from NorthernNic (and it looks pretty good, not really dark in colour) but I'm not cutting the vacuum seal open or anything until I get all the bottles I ordered and the PG and VG that I will be ordering tonight.

What is the best way to store the nicotine, pg and vg when I won't be using it too often (probably 3-4 bottles per week @ 15ml bottles, 3-6mg)? I've heard of people putting the nicotine in a freezer or leaving it in a dark cupboard of some sort, for now it's in a cabinet away from the animals

the greatest detriment to nic base is exposure to light, heat and oxygen. Oxygen (or air exposure) is often the cause of darkening to the liquid as the nic particulates will darken natrually due to this oxidization. This also explains the yellowing to Nic base which occurs during the breaking done of product into smaller shippable containers. As does storing in plastic containers for lengthy periods of time. The best way to store nic is in a cool dark place (obviosuly out of harms way of children and pets and other family members) and in appropriate sized airtight glass containers. And, as one uses the base, reduce it to a smaller container therefore reducing or mitigating the air exposure within the container itself. By protecting the product from heat, light and oxygen, you are extending its life and quality. A fresh batch of Nic, if stored properly has a shelf life of 5 years.

    Cheers, and vape on!

Keep mine in freezer in a couple Crown Royal bottles. No it does not freeze.
We are all cloud chasers. Otherwise we would all be chewing gum or putting on patches.

I store all my 50 mg & above nic in brown boston round glass bottle (4 & 2 oz) fill to the brim. I leave very little air gap, as neither PG nor VG expands when put in the freezer. Before I use it, I take it out a couple of hours to bring it back to room temperature before opening. I normally mix a 15 mg 25/75 bottle to last me a a week or two of mixing. When the bottle is 1/2 full, I transfer the nic to a smaller bottle (4->2, 2->1, 1->1/2), to reduce the amount of air in the bottle. I've got a lots of glass bottle (cheap on amazon.com).

Neither VG nor PG will solidify in a freezer. PG thickens to the consistency of VG at room temperature. VG on the other is thicker than molasses when put in the freezer. I keep my PG in the freeze and VG in the fridge to keep it "fresh" ;-)
